SERAMON®CHORDAE LOOP

SERAMON® CHORDAE LOOP is a non-absorbable implant for mitral valve reconstruction and repair of the chordae tendineae. The prefabricated implant offers the highest level of safety as a result of exact, reproducible controls of all decisive variables such as loop length, loop strength and needle tear-off force. The implant, based on a continuous PTFE suture, consists of four loops of equal length that are connected via a PTFE pledget. The pledget with a fourfold loop is sutured onto the papillary muscle, a second pledget serving as a support for the suture. The loops are attached with sutures.
